Permanent Bush Craft Shelter 2020

At the age of 76 I decided to built myself a permanent Bush Craft Shelter.

These are the primary Tools. A hand made Saw, Ax, Hatchet,
Brace and Bit and string.

Moved many poles 4-5 inches in diameter.

Starting, the first cut.

Front Header Up.

The whole structure to be drilled and pegged.

Back Header up, and three rafters just set for looks.

Moved 21 more poles.

All Rafters done, some more bracing.

Started Roof.

Roof Done. Bottom Ring cut to fit.

Bottom Ring drilled and pegged.

More Bracing. Used tire inner tube strip to hold other end.

All the bracing around the bottom done.

Starting to make siding.

Inner tube holds the pole.

Taking the high spots off.

Back wall is up.

South Wall is up.

North Wall Up
